Not all animals and insects in Mang Bayani's farm are happy. The reason-- those who are healthy and strong exclude in their games those who are sick and have some sort of physical defect.They even laugh at them. Only Bas, the guava tree accepts his lonely friends. He explains to them that they can still do something good in spite of their weaknesses. And they proved this when fire broke out in Mang Bayani's farm one afternoon.
