ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lollétte Oliva-Alipe loves telling stories, a love nurtures
when she was a Sunday school teacher for 15 years and
an English teacher in an elementary school for 7 years.
She wrote The Steadfast Snail for her grandchildren
during the COVID-19 pandemic, then followed it up with
The Timid Turtle. She is also the author of Play Nice and
Fight Fair—and other practical lessons in 35 years of
marriage.
With her husband, Emmanuel, Lollétte has raised five
children and fostered four. Their seven grandchildren
call her Mamita.
